Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,736.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Neil Cox - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Woodcock amidst silver birch, which sold at auction in November 2003 for GBP 2,585.00 (€ 3,710.81).
