Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lagen, Palawan by Neal Oshima was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 24,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,604.34) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Neal Oshima have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2012 the work Riverrun was auctioned for HKD 47,500.00 (€ 4,628.28).
