This artwork by Nazzareno Cipriani achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in April 2003. In the At Home - British and Continental Pictures & Works on Paper auction, the work "He is coming", Venice sold for GBP 1,292.50 (€ 1,684.04) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 600.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nazzareno Cipriani; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Antica Roma a San Lorenzo sold at auction in December 2003 with the realized price of EUR 1,860.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nazzareno Cipriani erzielte im April 2003 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion At Home - British and Continental Pictures & Works on Paper wurde die Arbeit "He is coming", Venice für GBP 1.292,50 (€ 1.684,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Nazzareno Cipriani; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Antica Roma a San Lorenzo im Dezember 2003 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 1.860,00.
