Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nazzareno Cipriani could be acquired at Christies in London in June 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the MARITIME PICTURES AND WATERCOLOURS auction, the work An Italian Peasant changed hands for GBP 240.00 (€ 355.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by Nazzareno Cipriani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Antica Roma a San Lorenzo in December 2003 with an auction result of EUR 1,860.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nazzareno Cipriani konnte im Juni 2005 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion MARITIME PICTURES AND WATERCOLOURS wechselte die Arbeit An Italian Peasant für GBP 240,00 (€ 355,70) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nazzareno Cipriani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Antica Roma a San Lorenzo im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.860,00.
