Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work Three Figures 43 x 38 in. (109.2 x 96.5 cm) framed 47 1/2 x 42 1/4 in. by Nazir Nabaa for USD 5,100.00 (€ 4,690.95). This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary Art | Bonhams Skinner at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nazir Nabaa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Three Ladies) in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 81,790.99).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Three Figures 43 x 38 in. (109.2 x 96.5 cm) framed 47 1/2 x 42 1/4 in. von Nazir Nabaa für USD 5.100,00 (€ 4.690,95) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art | Bonhams Skinner bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nazir Nabaa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Three Ladies) im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 81.790,99).
