In December 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Image World | Contemporary Art from a Private American Collection, which included the work Canal St. Martin by Nathan Zeidman. The »bidding war« ended at USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,626.61), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nathan Zeidman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Diver #2), which sold at auction in December 2021 for USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,775.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Image World | Contemporary Art from a Private American Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Canal St. Martin von Nathan Zeidman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.626,61) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Nathan Zeidman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Diver #2) beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für USD 21.250,00 (€ 18.775,40) versteigert wurde.
