Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Yellow Girl by Natasha Law was sold in the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in London in February 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,056.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Natasha Law - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunbathe Red, which sold at auction in December 2007 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 13,588.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Yellow Girl von Natasha Law wurde im Februar 2020 in der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.056,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Natasha Law mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sunbathe Red beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 13.588,30) versteigert wurde.
