This artwork by Nathan Altman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2004. In the RUSSIAN PICTURES auction, the work Costume Design For 'Tevye The Milkman' sold for GBP 1,792.50 (€ 2,578.50) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nathan Altman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of The Poet Boris Kornilov in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 45,888.22).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Nathan Altman erzielte im November 2004 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion RUSSIAN PICTURES wurde die Arbeit Costume Design For 'Tevye The Milkman' für GBP 1.792,50 (€ 2.578,50) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nathan Altman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of The Poet Boris Kornilov im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 45.888,22).
