Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Natalia Nesterova could be acquired at Christies in London in June 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Art auction, the work Le nombre des sots est infini changed hands for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,769.92) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Natalia Nesterova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dancing People in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 78,000.00 (€ 112,013.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Natalia Nesterova konnte im Juni 2018 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian Art wechselte die Arbeit Le nombre des sots est infini für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.769,92) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Natalia Nesterova erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dancing People im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 78.000,00 (€ 112.013,13).
