In June 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Butterflies on the Seashore by Natalia Nesterova. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,491.64), 34% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Natalia Nesterova have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dancing People in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 78,000.00 (€ 112,013.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 34 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Butterflies on the Seashore von Natalia Nesterova zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.160,00 (€ 23.491,64) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Natalia Nesterova auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dancing People im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 78.000,00 (€ 112.013,13).
