Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Last Supper by Natalia Nesterova was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection auction at Sothebys in London in December 2021. The price achieved of GBP 35,280.00 (€ 42,081.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Natalia Nesterova - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dancing People, which sold at auction in October 2007 for GBP 78,000.00 (€ 112,013.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Last Supper von Natalia Nesterova wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 35.280,00 (€ 42.081,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Natalia Nesterova mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dancing People beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für GBP 78.000,00 (€ 112.013,13) versteigert wurde.
