The price achieved of AUD 9,600.00 (€ 4,950.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Mervyn Napier Waller have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2006 the work Bantam Rooster And Hens was auctioned for AUD 15,535.00 (€ 9,343.89).
