Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Road From The Monument, Provincetown, Massachusetts by Nancy Ferguson for USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,402.27). This price was achieved in the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nancy Ferguson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Crowded Street, Provincetown, which sold at auction in November 2019 for USD 25,075.00 (€ 22,756.15).
