In October 2015 Christies in London held the auction ASOBI: Japanese and Korean Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Contemplation Wood by Tatsuoki Nambata. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 20,981.25) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Tatsuoki Nambata have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2016 the work Étude (Study) was auctioned for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,205.98).

Im Oktober 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion ASOBI: Japanese and Korean Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Contemplation Wood von Tatsuoki Nambata zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 20.981,25) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Tatsuoki Nambata konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2016 die Arbeit Étude (Study) für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.205,98) versteigert.
