Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Stars) by Nabil Nahas for USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,088.31). This price was achieved in the auction American Muse: The Collection of Nina Griscom at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nabil Nahas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November last year with an auction result of GBP 170,100.00 (€ 197,107.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Stars) von Nabil Nahas für USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.088,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Muse: The Collection of Nina Griscom bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nabil Nahas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 170.100,00 (€ 197.107,06).
