The work Nutting by Myles Birket Foster was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July this year. It achieved a price of GBP 2,176.00 (€ 2,538.73), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 45%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Myles Birket Foster achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Meet in November 2001 with an auction result of GBP 240,250.00 (€ 382,313.43).

Die Arbeit Nutting von Myles Birket Foster kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.176,00 (€ 2.538,73) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 45%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Myles Birket Foster erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Meet im November 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 240.250,00 (€ 382.313,43).
