Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Turkish, which included this untitled work by Mustafa Horasan. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,131.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Mustafa Horasan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2012 the work Untitled (from the Emo series) was auctioned for USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,787.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Turkish durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mustafa Horasan zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.131,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Mustafa Horasan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2012 die Arbeit Untitled (from the Emo series) für USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.787,66) versteigert.
