Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Muta-morphosis: Golden Horn, Istanbul by Murat Germen was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in April 2011. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,120.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Murat Germen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Muta-morphosis Istanbul collage, which sold at auction in October 2011 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 35,850.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Muta-morphosis: Golden Horn, Istanbul von Murat Germen kam im April 2011 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 10.120,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Murat Germen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Muta-morphosis Istanbul collage beobachtet, die im Oktober 2011 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 35.850,00) versteigert wurde.
