Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Murat Germen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in October 2010. In the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work "Muta morfoz" #16 sold for USD 37,500.00 (€ 26,990.07) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Murat Germen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Muta-morphosis Istanbul collage sold at auction in October 2011 with the realized price of USD 50,000.00 (€ 35,850.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Murat Germen erzielte im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit "Muta morfoz" #16 für USD 37.500,00 (€ 26.990,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Murat Germen; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Muta-morphosis Istanbul collage im Oktober 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 35.850,00).
