Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Japan by Munetsugu Satomi was sold in the Vintage Posters and Olympic Icons auction at Christies in London in April 2012. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,292.65), 17% above the upper estimate. Other works by Munetsugu Satomi have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,432.47) in October 2013 for the work Japan.
