Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Directions) by Muhammad Zeeshan was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in June 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,786.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Muhammad Zeeshan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dying Miniature, which sold at auction in June 2012 for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,060.68).
