The work Turkish untitled by Mubin Orhon was sold in the 20th Century Art/ Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in April 2017. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 42,500.00 (€ 50,469.48), 70% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Mubin Orhon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition Abstraite, 1963 in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 372,298.00.

Die Arbeit Turkish untitled von Mubin Orhon wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion 20th Century Art/ Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 42.500,00 (€ 50.469,48) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mubin Orhon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition Abstraite, 1963 im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 372.298,00.
