Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Turkish untitled by Mubin Orhon was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2015. The price achieved of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 47,528.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mubin Orhon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition Abstraite, 1963 in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 372,298.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Turkish untitled von Mubin Orhon kam im Dezember 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 47.528,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mubin Orhon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition Abstraite, 1963 im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 372.298,00.
