Artwork auctioned at five times the upper estimate price
The work Sans Titre by Mubin Orhon was worth EUR 15,088.00 to a buyer in March last year. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art at Artcurial in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mubin Orhon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition Abstraite, 1963 in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 372,298.00.
Kunstwerk zum Fünffachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Sans Titre von Mubin Orhon war einem Käufer im März letzten Jahres EUR 15.088,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mubin Orhon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition Abstraite, 1963 im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 372.298,00.
