Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre - 1964 by Mubin Orhon. The price achieved of EUR 25,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mubin Orhon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition Abstraite, 1963 in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 372,298.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1964 von Mubin Orhon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 25.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mubin Orhon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition Abstraite, 1963 im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 372.298,00.
