Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre - 1959 by Mubin Orhon. It changed hands for a price of EUR 37,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mubin Orhon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition Abstraite, 1963 in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 372,298.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1959 von Mubin Orhon zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 37.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mubin Orhon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition Abstraite, 1963 im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 372.298,00.
