Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2014 Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Composition - 1972 by Mubin Orhon. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mubin Orhon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition Abstraite, 1963 in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 372,298.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition - 1972 von Mubin Orhon zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.300,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mubin Orhon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition Abstraite, 1963 im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 372.298,00.
