A top price for Maud Hall Neale - as previously expected
In March 2011 Christies in London held the auction Victorian & British Impressionist Pictures Including Drawings & Watercolours, which included the work Roselie and Leslie Lever-Tilletson by Maud Hall Neale. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,243.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Roselie and Leslie Lever-Tilletson is the most expensive artwork by Maud Hall Neale that we have observed at auctions so far.
