Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work Naomi by Mr. for HKD 1,134,000.00 (€ 133,069.31). This price was achieved in the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 1,200,000.00 – 2,200,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mr. achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Exercising My Telekinetic Powers (Painted In 2012) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 4,560,000.00 (€ 4,656,652.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Naomi von Mr. für HKD 1.134.000,00 (€ 133.069,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 1.200.000,00 – 2.200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mr. erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Exercising My Telekinetic Powers (Painted In 2012) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.560.000,00 (€ 4.656.652,17).
