Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Christies in New York held the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online, which included the work The Doodler by Mr. Doodle. It changed hands for a price of HKD 11,970.00 (€ 1,447.55) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mr. Doodle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Big Kitty in April last year with an auction result of HKD 6,300,000.00 (€ 761,715.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Doodler von Mr. Doodle zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 11.970,00 (€ 1.447,55) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mr. Doodle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Big Kitty im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.300.000,00 (€ 761.715,86).
