Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Motonao Takasaki could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Work 1965 changed hands for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 29,607.92) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 280,000.00 – 380,000.00. Admittedly, works by Motonao Takasaki have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Work 1964 in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,240,000.00 (€ 143,321.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Motonao Takasaki konnte im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) wechselte die Arbeit Work 1965 für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 29.607,92) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 280.000,00 – 380.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Motonao Takasaki auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Work 1964 im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.240.000,00 (€ 143.321,06).
