A top price for Motonao Takasaki
This artwork by Motonao Takasaki achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. In the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Work 1964 sold for HKD 1,240,000.00 (€ 143,321.06) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 600,000.00. This high result makes Work 1964 the most expensive artwork by Motonao Takasaki that we have observed at auctions so far.
