This price was achieved in the auction New Day · New WaveCurated by Fereydoun Ave at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 800.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mostafa Sarabi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in April this year with the realized price of GBP 6,985.00 (€ 7,960.62).
