A top price for Mostafa Ahmed
In November last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIThe Finale, which included the work The Labourers by Mostafa Ahmed. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 12,112.50 (€ 14,035.62). With this result, The Labourers is even the most expensive work of art by Mostafa Ahmed that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIThe Finale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Labourers von Mostafa Ahmed zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 12.112,50 (€ 14.035,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist The Labourers sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mostafa Ahmed, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
