Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2004 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Fireworks by Morris Kestelman. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 776.75 (€ 1,099.32). Admittedly, works by Morris Kestelman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 10,501.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fireworks von Morris Kestelman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 776,75 (€ 1.099,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Morris Kestelman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 10.501,94).
