Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2021 Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale, which included the work Buddha by Monk Taixu. The price achieved of HKD 19,125.00 (€ 2,082.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Monk Taixu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2021 the work Calligraphy in Running Script was auctioned for HKD 38,250.00 (€ 4,077.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2021 führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Buddha von Monk Taixu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 19.125,00 (€ 2.082,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Monk Taixu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2021 die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script für HKD 38.250,00 (€ 4.077,09) versteigert.
