A top price for Monk Jifei Ruyi - as previously expected
The work Guanyin by Monk Jifei Ruyi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The auction ended at the price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,598.15), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Guanyin is the most expensive artwork by Monk Jifei Ruyi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Guanyin von Monk Jifei Ruyi kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.598,15) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Guanyin das teuerste Kunstwerk von Monk Jifei Ruyi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
