This artwork by Mommie Schwarz achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2006. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work A still life with tulips in a glass vase sold for EUR 4,200.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mommie Schwarz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A flower still life (recto)- A landscape (verso) in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 50,190.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mommie Schwarz erzielte im Januar 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings wurde die Arbeit A still life with tulips in a glass vase für EUR 4.200,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mommie Schwarz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A flower still life (recto)- A landscape (verso) im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.190,00.
