Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Molly Greene was auctioned at Phillips in 7 - in September this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 15,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 16,510.00 (€ 1,991.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Molly Greene have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mirror #2 in May this year with an auction result of USD 12,700.00 (€ 11,920.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Molly Greene kam im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 7 - zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 16.510,00 (€ 1.991,99) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Molly Greene auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mirror #2 im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.700,00 (€ 11.920,41).
