In May this year Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, which included the work Unknown by Mohammed Kazem. The »bidding war« ended at USD 52,920.00 (€ 49,671.48), 51% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Unknown the most expensive artwork by Mohammed Kazem that we have observed at auctions so far.
