Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mohammed Kazem could be acquired at Bonhams in London in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction, the work Symphony in Blue changed hands for GBP 1,187.50 (€ 1,322.98) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mohammed Kazem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unknown in May this year with an auction result of USD 52,920.00 (€ 49,671.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mohammed Kazem konnte im Dezember 2018 bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale wechselte die Arbeit Symphony in Blue für GBP 1.187,50 (€ 1.322,98) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mohammed Kazem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Unknown im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.920,00 (€ 49.671,48).
