Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Mohammed Ehsai was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2016. The price achieved of USD 56,250.00 (€ 51,313.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mohammed Ehsai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work He Is The Merciful in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,161,000.00 (€ 745,760.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mohammed Ehsai wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 51.313,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mohammed Ehsai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit He Is The Merciful im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.161.000,00 (€ 745.760,53).
