The work Allah by Mohammed Ehsai was sold in the Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction at Bonhams in London in February last year. It achieved a price of GBP 25,250.00 (€ 30,187.97), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mohammed Ehsai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work He Is The Merciful in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,161,000.00 (€ 745,760.53).

Die Arbeit Allah von Mohammed Ehsai wurde im Februar letzten Jahres in der Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 25.250,00 (€ 30.187,97) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mohammed Ehsai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit He Is The Merciful im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.161.000,00 (€ 745.760,53).
