Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mohabbat (Affection) by Mohammed Ehsai was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in October 2015. The price achieved of USD 185,000.00 (€ 167,542.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mohammed Ehsai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work He Is The Merciful in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,161,000.00 (€ 745,760.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mohabbat (Affection) von Mohammed Ehsai kam im Oktober 2015 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 185.000,00 (€ 167.542,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mohammed Ehsai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit He Is The Merciful im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.161.000,00 (€ 745.760,53).
