Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary African Art, which included the work Deep rimmed pot by Mohammed Ahmed Abdalla Abbaro. The price achieved of GBP 3,812.50 (€ 4,233.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Mohammed Ahmed Abdalla Abbaro have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2019 the work Pot (with narrow neck), 1986 was auctioned for GBP 6,937.00 (€ 8,051.57).
