Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work In The Lake by Mohammed Ehsai for GBP 956.25 (€ 1,074.97). This price was achieved in the auction MiddleEast London to Dubai Online Sale at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mohammed Ehsai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work He Is The Merciful in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,161,000.00 (€ 745,760.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit In The Lake von Mohammed Ehsai für GBP 956,25 (€ 1.074,97) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion MiddleEast London to Dubai Online Sale bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mohammed Ehsai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit He Is The Merciful im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.161.000,00 (€ 745.760,53).
