Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Mohammed Kacimi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in November this year. In the Moroccan & African Spirit auction, the work Composition bleue, 1991 sold for MAD 367,360.00 (€ 33,644.36) - well above the upper estimate of MAD 180,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mohammed Kacimi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Nomadic Signs sold at auction in November last year with the realized price of GBP 57,000.00 (€ 66,049.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mohammed Kacimi erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Moroccan & African Spirit wurde die Arbeit Composition bleue, 1991 für MAD 367.360,00 (€ 33.644,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von MAD 180.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mohammed Kacimi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Nomadic Signs im November letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 57.000,00 (€ 66.049,99).
