In October 2018 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Hopehole In The Back(Executed In 2012) by Moe Nakamura. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 212,400.00 (€ 23,916.55), 42% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moe Nakamura achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Child Of Nature#1 (Painted In 2013) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 336,000.00 (€ 343,121.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hopehole In The Back(Executed In 2012) von Moe Nakamura zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 212.400,00 (€ 23.916,55) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moe Nakamura erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Child Of Nature#1 (Painted In 2013) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 336.000,00 (€ 343.121,74).
