In September 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Japanese and Korean Art, which included the work Four woodcut oban tate-e triptychs of battle scenes from the Sino-Japanese war; the Japanese troops assailing a Chinese brigade; Captain Higuchi rescuing a Chinese child while fighting in the snow and two others--good impressions, slightly faded and toned by Mizuno Toshikata. The result of USD 1,000.00 (€ 738.83) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mizuno Toshikata - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unknown, which sold at auction in July 2005 for GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,436.82).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 1.000,00 (€ 738,83) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mizuno Toshikata mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Unknown beobachtet, die im Juli 2005 für GBP 1.680,00 (€ 2.436,82) versteigert wurde.
