Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2003 Christies in London held the auction AT HOME - JAPANESE CERAMICS AND WORKS OF ART, which included the work A woodblock concertina album by Mizuno Toshikata. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 705.00 (€ 1,013.12), 18% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mizuno Toshikata - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unknown, which sold at auction in July 2005 for GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,436.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion AT HOME - JAPANESE CERAMICS AND WORKS OF ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit A woodblock concertina album von Mizuno Toshikata zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 705,00 (€ 1.013,12) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Mizuno Toshikata mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Unknown beobachtet, die im Juli 2005 für GBP 1.680,00 (€ 2.436,82) versteigert wurde.
